Workshop on fighting disinformation

What role does disinformation play in your area?
We're working on strengthening citizen participation in rural communities by supporting them with the tools and know-how to prevent manipulative information from getting into the conversation.

As part of ‘Ideas for Europe' – a project all about boosting political participation in peri-urban and rural Europe – we know it’s essential that everyone has the right information to make the best decisions.

In this interactive, diverse and thought-provoking workshop you will learn
- how disinformation affects human behaviour,
- how to fight disinformation,
- and how you can promote media literacy in your community.

The workshop takes place online on two days, 10 and 11 May 2023 at 13:00 - 15:00 CEST.
