The European Forum Alpbach (EFA) coordinates the I4E project. EFA is a space and place for the emergence of reflection and action. It brings together young people from Europe and from all over the world with the most innovative minds from politics, business, civil society, culture, and science to drive ideas for a strong and democratic Europe. With this diverse, intergenerational, and interdisciplinary community, the Forum influences key actors throughout the European continent to facilitate their learning and decisions.
The The Alliance 4 Europe (A4E) leads on events countering disinformation. It serves as a focal point for civil society initiatives and activates European citizens for democracy through new resources for civic engagement. Although the office is registered in Germany, the Alliance supports civil society organisations across the continent. The team contributes with experts on media literacy and helps promote the activities through the project’s digital channels.
ALDA (the European Association for Local Democracy) supports the consortium in reaching out to local authorities and training multipliers. ALDA is a membership-based organisation based in Italy gathering more than 350 members (including local democracy agencies, local authorities (LAs), association of LAs, civil society organisations, universities, NGOs, grassroots associations and public bodies) based in 42 countries all over Europe and its neighbourhood. Today, ALDA is a key stakeholder in the field of local democracy, active citizenship, good governance, EU integration, human rights, and cooperation between LAs and civil society. Most of ALDA's work is based on the method of multilateral decentralised cooperation. This method involves a multi-stakeholder approach which focuses on strong partnerships between LAs and non-governmental organisations, which create positive synergy and ensure that common goals are reached in a successful way.
THE CIVICS Innovation Hub is the first pan-European NGO with hubs in Bonn, Sofia and Zagreb. Its mission is to strengthen the democratic competences, self-efficacy, and resilience of citizens across Europe in a bottom-up manner. THE CIVICS supports both citizens and civic educators to deal with the challenges of our time, such as threats to democracy, causes and effects of climate change, growing polarisation and social divides. The goal is to strengthen the democratic competences, self-efficacy and resilience of citizens across Europe.
The Dandelion Group (TDG) acts as communication advisor. The Brussels-based organisation promotes an inclusive Europe through communication, campaigns and collaboration. The team regularly trains European officials and organisations with a special focus on those advocating the rights of women, people of colour, people with disabilities and other groups that are underrepresented in our society. The team advises the Coordinator on diversity and outreach, organises inclusive debates and supports partners on enhancing the learning experience in their trainings.
